What is a brother?

Hey Graham Fans! I know I just posted an update, but I needed to get some input. I have heard some new words lately that I don't understand. Mommy and Daddy have said I am going to have a sibling and that I will be a big brother. What do those words mean? I know Mommy has a brother - Uncle Greg. Daddy has a brother - Uncle Brad. Does this mean I am going to get really tall all of a sudden? Am I going to grow hair on my face like Uncle Greg? And what in the world is a sibling? I don't quite get it all. Mommy has a Cabbage Patch doll - is that my sibling? Surely it doesn't meant anyone else is going to be living with us. Things are so good with Daddy, Mommy, and me. I just don't see how adding a new person into the mix would make life any better. If you all know what this means, help me out!

(Note from Mommy: Chris wanted me to make it clear that yes we are expecting no. 2. I am just over 12 weeks. My due date is May 2 - still a long way to go.... We are hoping that by the time the baby arrives that Graham has a better appreciation of the word 'gentle'. He likes to hold and kiss the Cabbage Patch doll, but also grabs her by the pigtails! The new baby may have to learn to be tough at a young age!)

The latest in the life of Graham

Hey Graham Fans! How are you? Well I have had my ups and downs since my last post. I was sick (ear infection) and my medicine upset my tummy. Mommy got me some different medicine but it took awhile to get over the upset tummy. I didn't feel like eating much. I was sleepy. I just wasn't myself.

Aunt Deb and Kayla stayed at our house while Dad took Sam and Uncle Tim hunting. It took me longer than normal to warm-up and I really wanted Mommy around. She snuck out of the house though. I had a pretty good time playing with Aunt Deb and Kayla. We went outside which you know I like. I showed them how I can ring the doorbell! Kayla took me outside several times so that was good. Uncle Greg even came by to play with me too.

After the weekend I really didn't feel better. We didn't go to storytime, but did go to Brighter Beginnings. Even that was a little tough on me. I didn't want Mommy to go to the parent discussion. All the nice caregivers looked out for me and I was okay. Things started to get better the end of the week. Friday morning, Mommy and Daddy were rushing around. Suddenly Grandma is at the front door - what a surprise! Before I knew it Mommy and Daddy were in the car backing out of the driveway - without me! Well I guess they went to a wedding in Chicago and saw a bunch of Daddy's friends from college. Grandma and I had a good time. I started to eat more again. We played outside some, but then it SNOWED Saturday. We were supposed to walk in the Walk to D'Feet ALS in memory of Grandpa Dennis. The weather was just too yucky. Uncle Greg went - he told us they still had a good turnout. We found out later they made a whole lot more money than they planned. That is great because they can help so many more people! Thanks to everyone that supported me!

Anyway, Grandma and I had fun. Uncle Greg hung out too. She made pies and we snuggledwe ate pizza and we went to Culver's for lunch (kind of like a Dairy Queen). I ate french fries and dipped them in ketchup! I like to do what I see other people do - which is why I dipped my fries. Grandma took one of the rugs out to shake it - now I keep trying to pick up the rugs.

I really like to stand on things - like my race car walk-n-ride. I also to stand on Daddy when he lays on the the floor.

I don't really know what fear is. Daddy puts me up in the air with one hand and I am like Superman - I love it. Uncle Greg will toss me around some too. It is so fun. I try to ride Dakota - she doesn't seem interested in being my horse. I have also being working on my 'aren't I cute smile' (see above). It comes in handing when we see people out and about. Mommy's friend Tracie came to visit us last week and I used it on her. I think I wooed her. We ran into the Bidinger's at Target on Saturday. I used it on them too. It really seems to work magic. I try it on Mommy to when she says that no word. It doesn't also seem to do the trick. I don't get it because other times she tells me how cute I am.

Well Mommy doesn't have pics to match all of our adventures, but I will throw a few up of my recent antics. Hopefully you enjoy them. They just show what the life of Graham is like.

Then Mommy took the Swiffer away.
Daddy got a little crazy with the baby wash....

Until next time...
